For years, a dedicated educator and college counselor from Palestine has quietly guided students toward opportunity—opening doors that led many of them to world-renowned institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and UPenn.
Now, he has been given a life-changing opportunity:
A one-year master’s program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in Learning, Design, Innovation, and Technology. Through this, he aims to build digital educational tools that expand access to quality education across the Arab and Muslim world—tools that could reach thousands of students for generations to come.
He is a permanent legal resident of the United States with a green card, and this next step represents not only personal growth but also a deep commitment to using his skills for global educational equity.

As the sole provider for his wife and two young children (just 2 years and 8 months old), this father is leaving behind his entire end-of-service payment to support them while he studies abroad. Although he has secured partial funding from Harvard and other donors, he still faces a $25,000 shortfall for basic living and housing expenses.
