This fund is dedicated to supporting Muslim students pursuing studies in Law, Political Science, Journalism, and Public Policy, with a particular focus on those planning to work in Washington, D.C. Thanks to this generous donation, ten $1,000 grants will be awarded to deserving students, prioritizing those who live or work near the nation’s capital.
About AAMAAL
AAMAAL: Muslim Women for Empowerment is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in April 2020 by a group of intellectual women
responding to community needs. The word ‘Amal’ means “hope or aspiration” in Arabic, “to labor” in Hebrew, and “doing a good deed” in Urdu. The plural form, AAMAAL, encompasses all these meanings.
In just four years, AAMAAL has established endowed scholarships for students in various fields, including medicine, mental health counseling, nursing, and STEM, at different universities and colleges. AAMAAL continues to expand its support for education through endowments and scholarships, now focusing on media, journalism, and law. The organization also supports various community development and outreach programs. For more information, please visit www.AAMAALUSA.org.
Aligning Missions: AAMAAL and A Continuous Charity
A Continuous Charity’s mission aligns with AAMAAL’s vision of perpetuating goodness, empowering individuals through education, and creating lasting legacies. We extend our deepest gratitude to Mumtaz & Sadiq Mohammed Khan and Qaisar Jahan & Idris Najmi, whose combined donations of $50,000 will significantly impact the lives of students in need.
May God bless everyone involved in these efforts.
