The M. Abdur Rashid Legacy Fund is established as a lifelong sadaqah jariyah in honor of a father whose values,

Allah ﷻ tells us in the Qur’an:
“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity.” (Qur’an 5:32)

And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)

This Legacy Fund embodies all three.
