Today, we are honored to announce the launch of the Mahdavia Islamic Center Education Fund, established in partnership with A Continuous Charity (ACC). This fund exists to ensure that our students can pursue higher education without the burden of riba (interest) and without compromising their values or future.

Through this fund, our community is investing directly in the next generation of Muslim leaders — students studying to serve society in fields such as education, healthcare, law, public service, and beyond.

 Why This Fund Matters

Allah ﷻ commands us to uplift one another through knowledge and generosity:

“Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.”
(Qur’an 58:11)

Yet today, many students are forced into interest-based debt simply to access education. The Mahdavia Islamic Center Education Fund was created to change that reality — to provide riba-free educational support rooted in Islamic principles and community responsibility.

This fund is not temporary relief.
It is sadaqah jariyah — a continuous charity whose impact multiplies with every student supported, every degree earned, and every life transformed.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us:

“When a person dies, all their deeds come to an end except three:
a continuing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
(Sahih Muslim)
