The NY Medical Legacy Fund, established in 2020 by Drs. Saniya Kibria and Bilal Khan, was set up to financially support dedicated, unique, and passionate Muslim students who have made it their life’s mission to pursue higher education in the varying disciplines of healthcare.

The fund stands as a sadaqah jariyah, or perpetual charity, dedicated to subsidize the educational pursuit of as many worthy candidates as possible inshallah.

In another Hadith narrated by Abu Huraira, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
