How to Open a Chapter of ACC?
Starting an ACC Chapter is simple and guided every step of the way:
- Submit the Online Application
Tell us about your community and your interest in starting a chapter. - Connect with the ACC National Team
We’ll work with you to determine fit, alignment, and readiness. - Complete Orientation
Receive your Chapter Startup Package and everything you need to launch successfully.
What You Need to Get Started
To establish a chapter, you’ll need:
- At least 3 core members, typically:
- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- A commitment to meet at least 4 times per year (quarterly)
That’s it, ACC provides the rest.
What ACC Provides
When you start a chapter, you are fully supported by ACC National:
- Direct access to ACC National staff
- Branded materials (tablecloths, flyers, templates, and more)
- Educational workshops and programming support
- Guidance for events, fundraisers, and community outreach

How Funds Are Distributed
50% Local | 50% National
Funds raised by your chapter are distributed with purpose:
- 50% supports students in your local community
- 50% supports students nationally

Timeline
