AAMAAL & ACC

AAMAAL Muslim Women for Empowerment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in April 2020 by a group of intellectual women in response to growing community needs. In Arabic, Amal means “hope” or “aspiration.” In Hebrew, it means “to labor,” and in Urdu, it signifies “doing a good deed.” The plural of Amal is AAMAAL, reflecting our commitment to embody all of these meanings through purposeful action.

As part of this mission, AAMAAL partners with A Continuous Charity to operate three dedicated educational funds that empower Muslim students through access to interest-free, community-supported educational financing. Through these funds, AAMAAL actively invests in education as a pathway to dignity, opportunity, and long-term community uplift.
