From Hyderabad to Healing: A Riba-Free Journey in Medicine

In the heart of Hyderabad, India, a dedicated physician served his patients with compassion, unwavering faith, and selflessness until his final day. Inspired by his legacy, one of our students has embarked on a journey to become a Physician Assistant—rooted in faith, service, and a profound commitment to the ummah.

When she and her husband moved to the United States, they were met with a difficult reality: their education from India was not recognized, and they would have to start over. Rather than turning to interest-based loans—an option that contradicts their Islamic values—they chose to wait, work hard, and seek a path that pleased Allah.

Through years of service as a certified pharmacy technician, volunteering at hospices, administering COVID-19 vaccines, and assisting in neuropsychological diagnostics, she remained focused on her purpose: to become a compassionate, faith-driven provider for her community. Her resolve only grew stronger as she juggled her education, financial constraints, and personal sacrifices—including caring for her family, supporting her sister with Down Syndrome, and navigating the aftermath of childhood adversity.

In 2022, she and her husband made Umrah to seek Allah’s guidance before she began PA school. And with your support through A Continuous Charity, she was able to complete her first semester—debt-free and riba-free.

This Dhul Hijjah, you can be the reason she completes her journey. By donating to A Continuous Charity, you provide more than just financial support—you preserve dignity, uphold Islamic values, and help raise the next generation of Muslim professionals committed to service and integrity.

🤲 Donate during these blessed days and multiply your reward. 🤲

May Allah accept from you and continue to bless our ummah with knowledge, resilience, and mercy.

Between Exams and Chemotherapy: A Son’s Story of Resilience

Imagine being a junior in college, tackling rigorous courses like biochemistry and neurobiology, when life suddenly presents a heart-wrenching challenge. This was exactly the case for one of our dedicated students. On a quiet Friday, he returned home from campus only to hear the devastating news: his mother had been diagnosed with acute T-cell lymphoma. The shock was overwhelming; his world felt shattered.

Yet, even amid this profound personal crisis, his faith grew stronger. Holding onto the Quranic verse, “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear” (2:286), he found the strength to support his mother through treatments, hospital visits, and emotional trials. Balancing family obligations and academic demands, he demonstrated remarkable resilience, maintaining his commitment to excel academically and spiritually.

Now, as he prepares for medical school, he is determined to avoid interest-based debt to adhere firmly to his Islamic values. When the pandemic hit, his parents’ tutoring business collapsed. One day, they sat him down and said, “We don’t know if we can afford your college anymore.”

But that’s not all…

He’s also pursuing an Alimiyyah degree, determined to revive the legacy of scholars who were just as rooted in Islamic knowledge as they were in science.

From Sacrifice to Stethoscope: An Immigrant’s Journey to Medical School

Growing up, this student was taught the value of discipline and education by devoted parents who uprooted their lives to move to the United States in pursuit of a better future for their children. But the path to that dream has been anything but easy.

His senior year of high school marked a turning point. With his older sister and father away at college, he was suddenly the eldest at home—tasked with taking care of his two younger sisters, managing household chores, and supporting his mother. He juggled all this while preparing for graduation, college applications, and navigating the painful reality of financial hardship. His father, once unemployed for two years, was working at Walmart—barely able to make ends meet.

Through this challenging chapter, he discovered untapped strength and independence. No longer leaning on others, he learned to lead. No longer shielded by comfort, he discovered the power of frugality and sacrifice. And in stepping out of his sister’s shadow, he stepped into his own light—with a dream of becoming a physician who would serve those in need.

Now, as a medical student, that dream is within reach—but financial barriers remain. Refusing to compromise his Islamic values, he has turned down interest-bearing loans and is instead seeking support through A Continuous Charity.

🌟 An interest-free loan from ACC will do more than ease financial pressure—it will empower him to focus fully on his studies, give back to underserved communities, and hold firm to his faith.

🎓 His goal? To become a physician who uplifts others, just as his family, faith, and hardships have uplifted him.

🤲 This Dhul Hijjah, your donation can make that dream a reality. 🤲

Help us remove the burden of riba from our students’ shoulders and invest in a future built on discipline, compassion, and divine trust.

From Grief to Grit: One Woman’s Mission to Empower Muslim Women Through Education

She has known struggle in nearly every form—personal trauma, domestic violence, mental health challenges, financial hardship, and unimaginable loss. Diagnosed with anxiety and depression at just 16, she fought for her healing through therapy, spiritual treatment, and even psychotropic medication. But through it all, one thing never wavered: her love for knowledge and her unwavering faith in Allah (SWT).

With a heart set on change, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in the Middle East. Her goal? To uplift women across the globe—emotionally, spiritually, and financially—through journalism and social work. But after moving to the U.S. in 2011, her dreams were met with closed doors. Internships were nonexistent. Financial instability and marital struggles forced her to put her ambitions on hold.

Just when life seemed to offer a glimmer of hope, tragedy struck. In 2018, she lost her child to a tragic accident—an event that shook her family to its core. Years of marriage and family therapy helped restore peace in the home, and she courageously launched a business to fund her education. But when that business failed, she found herself on the verge of bankruptcy.

Despite it all, her mission remains clear: to empower Muslim women through education, to fight for minorities, to raise awareness about mental health in Islam, and to use her voice for justice, healing, and truth. A devout Muslim, she has refused interest-based loans and instead sold her gifted gold jewelry, took on part-time work, and continued to give it her all.

Now, she needs your help.

🎓 With tuition costs rising and no other halal financial path available, your donation through A Continuous Charity can ensure she continues her education—interest-free and full of purpose.

This Dhul Hijjah, your sadaqah can change everything. It can help her finish her degree, amplify her voice, and uplift countless women through her work. Her story is one of resilience, faith, and service. Let it also be a story of community—a story where you made a difference.

🤲 Give during these blessed 10 days and multiply your reward. 🤲

Jazakum Allahu Khairan,

A Continuous Charity

Donuts, Dignity, and a Dream: Her Path to Riba-Free Medicine

Her alarm rang at 5:30 AM. Today wasn’t just any day—it was the Day of Dignity.

As the volunteer coordinator for a massive service project in South Dallas, she had spent two months organizing over 50 volunteers to provide clothing, food, hygiene kits, and toys to the underprivileged. She showed up early, energized with donuts and coffee in hand, and ensured every task was set in motion. All morning, she rotated between stations, checking on volunteers, handing out supplies, and distributing snacks to keep spirits high.

But it was one encounter she will never forget.

Two children approached her station looking for toys. When she asked about their parents, they quietly shared that they had both passed away. She handed them their toy bags with a smile—but their resilience in the face of tragedy struck her heart. In that moment, she realized this was more than an event—it was a calling.

This wasn’t her first taste of what it means to serve.

At home, her compassion had already taken root. After her mother developed severe food allergies, she became the family’s unofficial chef, crafting allergy-friendly meals from scratch. She created her own notebook of safe recipes and followed her mother’s appointments with intense curiosity—watching physicians build trust and restore confidence through tailored care.

That pink mini-notebook became a symbol of something greater: a desire to heal.

Now, as she prepares for medical school, her vision is clear—to become a physician who uplifts underserved communities, strengthens patients’ relationship with food and health, and leads with empathy and integrity.

But medical school comes with a heavy financial cost—one that she refuses to fund through riba.

That’s why she turned to A Continuous Charity.

🎓 An interest-free loan from ACC would allow her to pursue medical school without compromising her Islamic values. It would lift the financial burden from her shoulders, letting her focus on becoming the doctor she’s always dreamed of—the one who serves not only with knowledge but with compassion.

🤲 This Dhul Hijjah, help turn her notepad into a white coat. 🤲

Your donation is more than charity. It’s an investment in mercy, medicine, and a future built on the foundation of faith.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan,
A Continuous Charity

From Lockdown to Business School: A Muslim Leader's Mission to Uplift the Ummah

In February 2020, he was in Miami for work—on track in a successful consulting career—when suddenly, the world changed. COVID-19 shut everything down, and he returned home for what would become a two-year period of solitude, reflection, and realignment.

The lockdown, though isolating, became a blessing. It allowed him to care for his newborn daughter and support his wife through her demanding medical residency. But more than that, it forced him to reckon with a deeper question: Was his success meaningful? Was he living up to his potential and fulfilling the Islamic value of Ihsaan—excellence in everything for the sake of Allah?

The answer ignited a transformation.

Though working at a top consulting firm, he realized his impact was limited. He set his sights higher—to enter the competitive world of strategy consulting where he could help shape the future for people, organizations, and communities. He prayed to Allah to help him show the world what Ihsaan looks like. That prayer was answered with an acceptance to NYU Stern, one of the most prestigious business schools in the country.

But this wasn’t just about ambition. It was about service.

He began leading a global movement to help Muslims live riba-free, founding a now 200+ member group exploring faith-based paths to financial independence—particularly in housing. Disturbed by the normalization of riba in mortgages, he committed to building a platform that offers real, halal alternatives. His goal: to create generational change, not just for his family, but for the entire ummah.

This passion isn’t new. As MSA President, masjid board member, and co-founder of ACC Florida, he has spent his life advocating for higher education and a debt-free Muslim future. He’s never taken a riba-based loan. Now, as he embarks on the next step in his leadership journey, he is turning to A Continuous Charity to help keep that commitment.

🎓 An interest-free loan from ACC will help him pursue his MBA without compromising his values. It will ease the burden on his wife as she finishes cardiology training and ensure their family remains riba-free.

🤲 This Dhul Hijjah, invest in a legacy of leadership, faith, and financial integrity. 🤲

With your support, we can help him—and others like him—reach their highest potential while uplifting the entire Muslim community.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan,
A Continuous Charity
